5. If possible, there is a natural process called methanogenesis by which hydrogen (from steps 1, 2 and 3) and CO2 become methane and water:
CO2 + 4 H2 => CH4 + 2H2O
 
It might be best to stick to the hydrogen. At least for clean aviation.
