Eine Recherche zum Thema Sandschaden bei Digitalkameras
Sand in der Digitalkamera / Kamera ?
Haben Sie auch einen Schadensfall, bei dem die Olympus Kamera defekt ist und
Mit der Antwort Sand-Schaden , Reparatur lohnt sich nicht,
angeblich die Garantie erlischt?
Redet sich Olympus hier nur heraus ? Welches Recht habe ich ? Ich behaupte, dass der Foto Apparat schon zuvor defekt war und gar kein Sandschaden vorliegt.
Ich kann den Fall sogar per Foto-Galerie beweisen. Doch was sagen andere Nutzer im Internet zu solchen Problemen.

Service bericht: Produkt lohnt nicht zu reparieren - Sandschaden! Der Sandschaden wurde damals angeblich schon behoben
..Consumer Service angerufen und nach gefragt wie es denn aussieht mit einem eventuellen Ersatzgerät, die Telefonistin meinte dann aber, das, dass nicht geht.

Grundsätzlich ist es so, dass bei Schäden in den ersten 6 Monaten nach dem Kauf davon ausgegangen wird, dass der Schaden bereits bei Kauf vorhanden war.

Then I brought it to the beach and the thing had crapped out on me once again as soon as I took it into the water. I opened up the battery compartment and lo and behold, WATER and SAND! Im

I sent it back to Canada (where I had purchased it) and Im still awaiting for my new replacement. Apparently there are a batch of the the tough8000 with defective battery covers/rubbers so I would make sure you all test yours.

I have the Tough 8000 by default - Olympus replaced it for my Tough 1030 which leaked - actually I had two 1030s replaced for leaking prior to that. Im not that confident with this camera, especially since the seals seem identical to those of the 1030. Any

Grains of beach sand can jam it up very efficiently and you end up digging around with a needle or a pin to make it work again. The mere idea of a cover, protecting the lens, doesn’t seem to be really good in the case of an underwater camera because after every diving we must dry it sort of two times. It happened that when we went to take some photos on dry land there were still droplets of water under the cover, so you must remember to dry the camera switched on (with the cover tilted) and switched off as well, unless you always carry with you a soft cloth to wipe the lens dry

If this is your bang-around camera, wouldn’t you want that delicate membrane protected? Really great idea in theory. The problem is that as soon as a little dirt or sand gets in there it grinds all around every time you open and close it, and sometimes it catches all together.

Also, be sure to wash the camera off with fresh water when you get back to your ship and when dry, open the compartments and carefully blow out any sand that could hurt the seals
