Bonanza ist ein englisches Wort spanischen Ursprungs für „ergiebige Goldgrube“ oder auch „Glücksfall“. Die Familie Cartwright, um die sich die Serie dreht, besteht aus dem Vater und drei Söhnen

Excellent large poster size Map of the legendary "Ponderosa" and the surrounding area from the famous "Bonanza" Television show. Features facsimile autographs printed on left side of Lorne Greene, Dan Blocker (Hoss) and Michael Landon. Handsome western-like border and coloring add to its luster as do the mini-drawings of cowboys, bank-robbers, cactus' stagecoach, animals etc.. Map shows where Ponderosa is with relation to Reno, Virginia City, Carson City, Lake Tahoe and the Truckee water system. This is the map they used to burn during the credits. Very suitable for framing, Excellent condition, a must have for any Bonanza collection!
